Chester and North Wales Wedding Photographer
Hi and thanks for dropping by my site! If you’ve come this far, then chances are you have recently got engaged! Congratulations!! I’m Rich Miller, a Wedding Photographer based in North Wales but I cover weddings anywhere in the world from Chester to Australia. (Well hopefully one day). Photography is in my life every single day, whether it be capturing memories on a grand wedding day, or snapping on my phone..My little girl is usually my main model. Living in North Wales, I am very lucky to have so many stunning landscapes on my doorstep and I am a massive geek and love nailing a landscape shot during my downtime!
I have a portfolio which includes weddings, portraits, landscapes, commercial images and parties & events from all over North Wales, Chester, Wrexham & The North West.
<—- Yep thats my mug there! As you can probably tell, I hate having my photo taken! I’m much better behind the lens.
Quality, Unique and Unobtrusive Wedding Photography…
You might already have some ideas for your wedding photography and already have an epic sized Pinterest board. It may feature a Royal Wedding or even a stunning Santorini roof top wedding. Whatever your dreams are, it is important to know you are hiring a experienced professional photographer to have every aspect covered and every memory captured.
I established my business back in 2012 and have since shot hundreds of amazing weddings up and down the country. My time and experience so far photographing weddings has led me to capture thousands of peoples happy moments, whether it be rain, shine, snow and anything else mother nature wishes to throw at us!
I offer wedding photography packages which cover an entire day from bridal prep to first dance to make sure a moment isn’t missed. However, this can be tailored for short notice and low season bookings.
I have been fortunate enough to be a regular photographer at some of North Wales and Chester’s most prestigious wedding venues such as Soughton Hall, Tyn Dwr Hall, Oddfellows, Tower Hill Barns and Peckforton Castle. I must admit though, I do love a DIY wedding with a tee-pee in the middle of a random field!
Weddings are a day to celebrate with your family and friends, and I am simply there to capture the memories, which will last a lifetime, in an unobtrusive way.
I enjoy catching the action exactly as it happens, with the family formal shots in between. This allows the day to remain yours to remember. My aim is not to take over your wedding day and ask you to pose for a single picture for 20 minutes, but will be on hand to make sure your must-have shots are captured.
I like to capture things from all angles. Up close and at a distance. Documenting your wedding day is what comes naturally to me. Be aware… you may not even notice I’m there when I’m capturing some natural shots! I will happily tuck away in a corner with a long lens and capture reactions and the memories being made on your special day. I also love to be among the action so I will get involved with your guests, and interact with them as the day unfolds.
My candid, relaxed style is a constant in my work. I have photographed many different venues around the country and abroad. These have included a stunning roof top castle wedding in Italy and then to the other extreme, a Don’t Tell the Bride wedding in the middle of a field where the bride got married in the back of the grooms Volkswagon Golf.
I feel very privileged to be allowed a take part in one of the most special times in a couple’s lives, and I adopt a fun approach to your wedding day, but without the cheese!
I approach every wedding with the same desire, the same enthusiasm and the same excitement. It’s not like
a normal job where 2 days are ever the same. Every single wedding is unique. Your wedding day brings together all your unique ideas, your unique personalities, and your unique guests. It is my job to capture all these special elements to give you a set of wedding photographs you will treasure forever. My experience,
my creativity, my people skills and my professionalism should mean you actually don’t dread having your photograph taken. It is my aim to make the photograph time we spend together enjoyable and for you to be WOW’d with the finished product. I am the first to admit that I hate having my photograph taken which I why I completely understand couples who have similar thoughts.
Feel free to grab a coffee and have a really good look around my website. If you like what you see, get in touch for a chat, or to meet up for a look at some more of my portfolio and albums.
