Pete & Roxy’s Soughton Hall Outdoor Wedding
Ok so I’m really not up to date with my blog posts and going totally out of order. Pete and Roxy’s amazing wedding at Soughton Hall was back in 2018!
Soughton Hall had not long built an outdoor ceremony area for couples do say I do, and Pete and Roxy were one of the first couples to get married outdoors at this stunning venue. The new ceremony area looked amazing with the stunning backdrop of Soughton Hall. The weather was overcast all day (perfect for photographers!) Bridal Prep was in the South Parlour of Soughton Hall where Roxy and her bridesmaids were enjoying some pre-ceremony drinks and giggles! Oh and not to leave out Pete and Roxy’s gorgeous daughter, Ivy who never stopped smiling all day.
The day was full of cheer, laughter and love. A chair was reserved at the front during the ceremony with a single white rose for Roxy’s mum who sadly couldn’t be there in person, but was there in spirit and in everyone’s thoughts.
I was joined by some awesome suppliers at Soughton Hall who helped make Pete & Roxy’s day extra special. Big thanks to:

A Chester Engagement Shoot!
Matt and Jess, are due to be married at Soughton Hall in North Wales, and I am so excited to be their wedding photographer for the day.
With us all living so close to Chester, it only seemed right that we caught up at the Grosvenor Park for a chat before we cracked on with some candid photography.
Chester has so many amazing opportunities for engagement and wedding photography, but we chose to stay close to the Grosvenor Park, as the colours were amazing. It was an Autumn afternoon and the orange leaves looked amazing. We ventured off slightly around the Chester walls before heading back home.
We hadn’t long started before the photobombers came. I’m not talking about cyclists or people walking their dogs. We had an abundance of squirrels who were all wanting their photograph taking with Jess and Matt! Jess particularly got on well with the squirrels, feeding them nuts. I am a bit more reserved and was happy to photograph from a distance.
It’s not long now until Jess and Matt’s wedding day in North Wales, and I can’t wait to be part of it!
Here are a few of my favourite photographs from their Chester engagement shoot.
