Abbeywood Estate Wedding Photography
This was my first time photographing at Abbeywood Estate in Delamere, and what an amazing place it is! Located just outside Chester City Centre, Abbeywood’s vast immaculate gardens, stunning views over Cheshire, amazing staff and HUGE orangery where your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception are held, are just a few reasons why Abbeywood Estate is the perfect wedding venue. When I photographed David and Laura’s big day, it was a little overcast for parts, but during the evening we had the most beautiful sunset in Cheshire, for some romantic bride and groom pictures.
I started my day at Laura’s parents house for bridal prep images. Everyone was on hand to make sure the day went super smoothly including Laura’s beautiful bridesmaids. Laura was calm right throughout bridal prep…Perhaps a little too calm as we did arrive 20 minutes late for the ceremony. When I arrived at Abbeywood to tell David we were slightly behind, he didn’t seem so surprised as Laura was previously given the nickname by her nieces and nephews “Aunty Late Laura”.
After the emotional ceremony in the orangery, it was straight onto the photographs, starting with a group photo and confetti shot! Wow what a lot of confetti!! Look out for the picture. Whilst I was photographing family formal shots in Abbeywood’s stunning gardens, guests were keeping themselves entertained by pimping their Prosecco, bouncing on space-hoppers, playing cricket, oh and giving Ringo (Laura and David’s gorgeous pooch) lots of fusses! Ringo also made his way into the photographs too 🙂
Here are a selection of some of my favourite photos from Laura and David’s wedding day at Abbeywood Estate, Delamere.
Inglewood Manor Wedding Photography
This was the first time i’d had the pleasure of photographing at Inglewood Manor. I have photographed there since and it is now, without a doubt, one of my favourite wedding venues! For Cheryl and Dan’s big day I really was spoilt. The sun shone all day meaning we were able to have the ceremony outside and all the guests could enjoy the wedding on the huge terrace at Inglewood. The grounds themselves are huge! There are 2 ponds located at either end of the lawns, a woodland area, a large driveway and lots of lovely features in the gardens to make for stunning photographs.
I started my day at Cheryl and Dan’s house where Cheryl was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. Its natural to feel nervous on your wedding day, but if Cheryl was nervous she definitely wasn’t showing it! I left a little early so I could get some pictures of Dan and his groomsmen before Cheryl arrived in her vintage car, provided by Chester Wedding Cars.
Once Cheryl and Dan had said “I do” it was straight on to the photographs so we could make the most of the sunshine… Starting with a group shot of everyone together.
At most weddings, most brides will bring a pair of “tactical flats” with them, just incase we go for a little walk and their feet start to ache. Not Cheryl though! She was more than happy to come for a walk for photographs, through the woods and across the lawns in her stunning wedding dress and high heels.
There were so many opportunities for candid photographs of the guests during Cheryl and Dan’s big day at Inglewood Manor, including some hilarious moments with a space hopper and some worm dancing from the guests!
Here are a few of my favourites from Cheryl and Dan’s wedding at Inglewood Manor.
