Highfield Hall Wedding Photography
So….It’s now December and I am blogging about weddings which happened in June. Needless to say its been a crazy summer! Here we have the wedding of Kate and James at Highfield Hall Hotel in Northop Hall. I have photographed many weddings at Highfield Hall, and loved every one of them, but Kate and James’ big day had so many personal touches which made it so unique and different (in a good way!)
The day started with me arriving 2 hours before the ceremony to capture Kate’s makeup shots and also to get some shots of the groomsmen. James was fine tuning his voice and his ukulele. James was planning to sing and play whilst his bride walked down the aisle. It was amazing!!! Pictures below.
Everything about the wedding day was so relaxed and Kate and James’ smiles were ever present throughout. The traditional wedding you might read about online will involve the groom wearing a top hat, tails and shiny shoes, and a huge veil, heavy dress and high heels for the bride. Nothing wrong with that at all, but I did love the groomsmen’s tweed waistcoats and the bride and groom’s matching converse pumps! It is also traditional for the guests to throw confetti over the bride and groom right? Not if you’re Kate and James….. You throw it at each other! 🙂
Anyway, I could be here all day talking about how amazing this wedding was, but I will now let the pictures do the talking.
